Day-by-Day
Each day is thoughtfully planned but flexible - adjustments are welcome during the planning process.
Arrive at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh. Transfer to your hotel and spend the day resting and acclimatising to the altitude. Light exploration of Leh Market and Shanti Stupa in the evening if comfortable.
Visit Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and the confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers at Sangam. Afternoon at Hemis Monastery followed by Rancho School. Return to Leh for the evening.
Drive across Khardung La pass into Nubra Valley. Arrive at Hunder village, explore the sand dunes, and enjoy a quiet evening in one of the most unusual landscapes in India.
Day trip to Turtuk, the northernmost village open to tourists. Explore the Balti heritage, apricot orchards, and village trails. Return to Hunder for the evening.
Drive from Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok route. Arrive at the lake by afternoon and witness the shifting blue colours that make Pangong one of the most photographed lakes in India. Overnight by the lakeside.
Morning by Pangong Lake for photography and reflection. Drive back to Leh via Chang La pass, with stops at Hemis or local markets for gifts. Last evening in Leh.
Transfer to Leh airport for your onward flight. If time permits, a final walk through Leh's old town and market before departure.

Inner Line Permits are required for Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, and Turtuk. These are included in the package and arranged by our team before your arrival.
Absolutely. Many travelers combine Ladakh with a shorter Kashmir itinerary covering Srinagar, Gulmarg, or Pahalgam. We can build a combined plan around your dates.
June to September offers the best weather and road access. May and early October are shoulder months with cooler temperatures but fewer crowds. Winter travel is limited to Leh town.
