Each day is thoughtfully planned but flexible - adjustments are welcome during the planning process.
Arrive at Srinagar airport. Transfer to a premium houseboat on Dal Lake. Evening shikara ride through the floating gardens and lotus-filled channels.
Visit the Mughal Gardens - Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. Afternoon at the old city and Shankaracharya Temple for panoramic views.
Drive to Gulmarg, Kashmir's highland meadow town. Take the Gulmarg Gondola for views of Nanga Parbat and the Pir Panjal range. Afternoon walk through the meadows.
Drive from Gulmarg to Pahalgam via the saffron fields of Pampore. Settle into a riverside hotel. Evening walk along the Lidder River.
Full day exploring Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, and Chandanwari. Scenic meadows surrounded by pine forests and snow-touched peaks.
Early morning drive back to Srinagar. Afternoon flight to Leh. Transfer to hotel and rest for acclimatisation. Light evening walk if comfortable.
Visit Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and the Indus-Zanskar confluence at Sangam. Afternoon at Hemis Monastery. Return to Leh for the evening.
Cross the legendary Khardung La pass into Nubra Valley. Explore Hunder sand dunes and settle into camp. Stargazing in the desert valley.
Drive from Nubra to Pangong Lake via the Shyok route. Arrive by afternoon and witness the legendary colour-shifting lake. Overnight in a lakeside camp.
Morning at Pangong for final photos. Drive back to Leh via Chang La. Afternoon at leisure for shopping and exploration. Farewell dinner.
Transfer to Leh airport for your onward flight. An 11-day journey across two of India's most extraordinary regions comes to a close.

Yes. The itinerary is designed to give meaningful time in each region. Kashmir gets 5 days (Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam) and Ladakh gets 5 days (Leh, Nubra, Pangong). The connecting flight keeps travel time efficient.
You spend the first 5 days at lower Kashmir altitudes before flying to Leh. Day 6 includes full acclimatisation rest. The Ladakh route then builds altitude gradually.
Absolutely. Some travelers add Sonmarg or Doodhpathri in Kashmir, or extend Ladakh to include Tso Moriri. We can also shorten to 8-9 days by adjusting the Kashmir segment.
Yes, though we recommend it for children aged 8 and above for the Ladakh portion due to altitude. The Kashmir segment is comfortable for all ages.
