Each day is thoughtfully planned but flexible - adjustments are welcome during the planning process.
Arrive at Leh airport and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day resting and hydrating. If comfortable by evening, a light walk to Leh Market or Shanti Stupa.
Visit Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and the Sangam confluence of Indus and Zanskar rivers. Afternoon at Hemis Monastery and the Rancho School. Return to Leh for the evening.
Drive from Leh to Pangong Lake via Chang La, the third-highest motorable pass. Arrive by afternoon and settle into a lakeside camp. Watch the lake transform through shades of blue as the sun moves.
Morning at the lake for sunrise photography. Drive back to Leh via the same scenic route. Afternoon at leisure - explore Leh's old town, shop for Ladakhi crafts, and enjoy a farewell dinner.
Transfer to Leh airport for your onward flight. A short trip, but one that captures the soul of Ladakh.
